Before the child arrives at your home, it’s a great time to take photos that can be used as adoption announcements. Friends and family love receiving these in the mail or through email or social media. These announcements can be funny, sweet, or serious, or anything in between.

4. First Time in Your Arms
If you can, capture the look on each parent’s face as their new child is given to them for the first time. Keep in mind that the child may be upset or confused. Be patient with the baby or child, and remember that he or she is going through a huge upheaval in their lives.
